Rachel- Life is Out There
Life is out there

SUPPLIES
Basic Grey 12x12 papers (nook and pantry: waffles & bundt pan)
Ki memories daisy spot patterned paper
Corrugated card
String
Photograph
Stapler
Brown ink in spray bottle
American crafts anywhere pen (black)
HOW TO
Tear a strip of bundt pan paper and a mountain from the daisy paper and layer using the waffles paper as your base.
Spray the edges of your layout lightly using the brown ink
Tear and curl the edges of your photo and attach on the right hand side.
Punch holes along the corrugated strip, thread with string tying the ends over the photograph.
Add you text using black pen

HOW TO
Step 1: First I cut out the red My Mind's Eye paper and then the lighter one..
Step 2: Use some black marker to make stripes and doodle some hearts on the photo.
Step 3: Glue down the picture (13x18).
Step 4: Put a piece of October Afternoon Bingo paper under it and some prima donna cardstock under the picture.
Step 5: Add stickers to your layout and line up your title.
Step 6: Add some sassafras under the picture with a stampler and you have you page that is done very fast and simple

Felt Scalloped Circle: Making Memories
HOW TO
place the 6 x 8 cm picture on the "who's here!" journaling card and adhere this one on the other journaling card. adhere all on the paper, above on the right. Put the numbers die cut on the left and place a scalloped circle around the moment of your pregnancy (or the age of your children, the date... etc depending of the picture you use). adhere a felt butterfly next the picture and place the swirl transparency on its back. Decorate and write your title and journaling with stamps and black ink.

HOW TO
Step1 … Choose a picture (13x18 was my choice) and then pick some happy camper wooden paper as your background.
Step2… take your October afternoon paper and cut it in the size you like. Distress the edge with a razor and ink it. The backround gets inked as well.
Step3…Cut out some pieces of the paper placemat and glue it on your basic paper and then glue down the October afternoon paper but leave the edges a little bit open so you can put things under it
Step 4…I cut some prima donna leftover cardstock and put a little under my October afternoon paper. Also use a tag under it called our story.. and just another vintage tag on the other side of the photo
Step5… Then glue the picture on it and rub down the rub on from bo bunny. Adhere your stickers.
Step6…. Then cut out some butterfly hambly. I used some glue to stick to my page and use the line with some alpha stickers brown+ love playin with water..
Step7…then took two paperclips and put them on top so there it is your lovely all seasons page

Sizzix die cut flowers.
HOW TO
Layout created using different sheets from the DCWV Grannys Kitchen Mini pad, just to show that it doesnt just have to be used for cards or smaller projects. This is an 8.5 x 11 layout and i simply layered the papers in different sizes, inked the edges and finished with a sizzix die cut layer flower. The alphabet is a Thickers white puffy set and then mounted onto individually cut strips of chocolate cardstock.

Alphabet American Craft
Stamp American Craft “wedding frame”
Grungeboard Tim Holtz Ranger
Circle punch
HOW TO
Cut a strip of 5/30,5cm, and cut a side to make it looks like grass.
Add it on the bottom of the page. Add a ribbon sticker. Use the chipboard arrow to make the little trees with the stickers. Add two square stickers.
On the right side of the page, add some stickers (tag, flowers) and the photo.
Used a frame stamp from American Craft to show up the title “sweet”
With a punch, make some circles; bend it to obtain leaves. Add it on the top of the page.
Add the date.
Then scratch the edges of the page.
Finally, outline all the elements with a white pen.

HOW TO
Tear an inch away from each edge of the embossed paper and tear a square away from the centre also. Sand the surface and matt this onto the puppy love paper.
Attach your photograph behind the window if the chipboard album cover and decorate the edge of the window with stickles.
Tie a a tiny ribbon bow through the jump ring hole and finish with a gel sticker.
Attach 2 horizontal lines of sticky foam behind the upper and lower edges of the book cover and trim a page from the book to fit in between these to form a slider.
Stick the chipboard cover in place on the layout.
Colour the trimmed book page with the antique linen ink and ink the edges with the walnut stain ink. Add journaling and create a pull at the right hand point by stapling a twist of tiny ribbon and finishing with a gel sticker. Slide into place behind the chipboard panel.
Add your main title using the thickers highlighted with white pen and finish using a tab of the embossed card and a white pen.
Decorate the jewellery box thickers using the stickles and once dry and to the chipboard frame.

Making memories: noteworthy
Bazzill: dark brown
miscellaneous: notebook paper, cork
Embellishments:
Basic Grey Marrakech - Element stickers
Prima hydrangeas
miscellaneous: paper lace, alpha (brown and blue), gold stickles
HOW TO
Cut the edge of noteworthy paper (keep the "blue border"). Adhere it on the background.
Cut a 20cmx20cm square into "vanilla chai" paper. Cut other strips of patterned papers. Place all of them in the middle of the LO. Mat your photo with cork. Distress or ink all the edges of papers, photo and cork .
Add notebook sheet on the right side of the photo. Write your journaling.
Add embellishments: flowers, stickers, paper lace, stickles...
Add sewing on two parts of the LO. Finally write your title with alpha stickers (Place some of them on squares...and adhere them with 3D foam).
