Guardian Angels

Some times in life we just need someone to look out for use – and that is usually our Guardian Angel… We love this layout by Christiane who used some amazing techniques to create this stunning and striking layout! This layout really does strike a cord with any of us who have children who are getting older and more independent every day, we want them to be kept safe – as a parent it is our greatest wish!

To create:
Create at first your page with a piece of patterned paper and the photo on a white cardstock.
Paint a frame with acrylic paint on a second piece of white cardstock and cut it out. Frame it with black and white pens and add it with 3D-pads over the page. Embellishments after your fancy!!

We have been asking our DT what their favorite brands are and why – we thought that you may find this interesting… so here is Christiane’s top 5!

Christiane says that it is difficult to choose only five brands as she is in love with them all… but here goes!

Creative Imaginations - A great manufacture with such versatile designers and lots of styles. There is something for everyone.
Ranger - I love to play with all the paints and inks. Great to add colour and texture to projects.
Fancy Pants - Bright colours besides muted ones. I'm totally in love with all their embellishments!!
Scenic Route - Love the clear colors and the graphic style.
Urban Lily - So fab to go crazy and to scrap *outside the box*!!

The ScrapbookMate are currently at the ICHF (Stiches) Trade show in the UK, selling our wares to the ‘Great’ British public. We have projects from our DT on the booth and their creativity is being greatly admired. We are so please to have such a super talented DT! The visitors to the booth are also admiring the beautiful new brands that we have including Hambly Screen Prints, My Minds Eye, American Crafts and Teresa Collins Designs!

You should see some yummy projects on the blog using these products VERY soon!
