To create:
Choose a romantic photo, this is a photo of my friend's daughter. It is a traditional school type photo – you know that kind of picture they take every year? They are perfect to create a scene background just like this. Start cutting out the picture’s background, make a new one using the maybe baby papers, draw some curtains, place all these 3 elements together as if you were using the paper piecing technique. After doing it draw your windows frame, fold it about one cm from the border to give it movement (you can hide your journaling under the windows) Now is time to paint all the chipboards and fabric flowers. Add a layer of colour to every flower; do not paint the fabric yet! Allow it all to dry. After it's completely dry add now a layer of the pearl glaze, now you'll paint the fabric ones to add a classy look. Allow all the pieces to dry. Using some scraps from Love Elsie (by KI memories) lola hand draw or copy from the internet a balloon shape, and with the Fancy Pants scraps draw two hearts to add to your window. Now it's just to place everything together outlining everything with your black pen, place your doodlebug title and doodle it little more make a border with the black pen all around your card stock and it's done.

The blog entries have been a little hit and miss over the last couple of weeks and we are sorry for this – our DT team leader has had some family issues that take precedence! We hope that you understand. We do have a couple of the other DT members who are going to step in and we should hopefully be able to get things back on track!!
