Being a Mom of Two

Mireille's daughter has a little jealousy problem these days. When her little brother cries and gets to sit on Mireille's lap, she immedietly wants to sit there too. She'll even command her mom to "get rid of Noah," to which she'll respond:

"I have TWO knees for a very good reason. The left knee is Noah's knee and he gets to sit there. The right knee is for you, Amber. I can hold you both at the same time."

SUPPLIES
Patterned paper: My Minds Eye- Wild Asparagus (Sweet little one plaid, sweet little one paisley) Paper Lace: Creative Imaginations
Journaling Card: My Minds Eye
Paint: Making Memories
ricrac: Misc.
pen: Sakura
bling: Heidi Swapp
ink: Colorbox
Rubons: BasicGrey
Buttons: 7 gypsies
Scrappers Floss: Karen Foster
Flowers: Prima
Stickers: Doodlebug Designs
Butterfly chipboard shapes- Maya Road

HOW TO
I took the two sheets of patterned paper and cut rectangles, placing the smaller rectangle on a larger rectangle untill I got to the 30 x 30 piece.
I adhered it with double sided tape. Leave the very edge of the rectangles adhesive free so you can distress, tear, and wrinkle it.
Center the photo on your layout. I painted around the background image of the photo so that the concentration is on my kids and I.
I put paper lace frames on the different pieces of patterned paper.
I took two pieces of 1 cm x 30 cm patterned paper and folded it, placed it below the picture and put a strip of paper lace over it.
I used the Maya Road chipboard butterflies as a template, drew on the backside of the patterned paper and cut it out.
Fold them for dimension, use ric rac for the body and add bling.
I used Doodlebug alpha stickers for the title, cut the MME journaling card in two pieces, adhering one part in the right upper corner and one in the left corner.
I placed layered flowers in the right upper corner, partially over the journaling card, then adhered the buttons with scrappers floss.
I added some rub ons as a finishing touch
