Cherished Moments by Carole

Carole shows us a beautiful mother/child tribute page today. She also gives some advice about your embellishments. If you concentrate a majority of the embellishments on one corner of your photo, the eye is automatically drawn to it. That works wonderfully in this layout!

SUPPLIES:
Papers: Creative Imaginations, Heidi Swapp, Fancy Pants, Making Memories
Notebook Page: Making Memories
Creative Card: Fancy Pants
Label: Jenni Bowlin Studio
Stickers: Making Memories
Chipboard: American Crafts, Making Memories, Heidi Swapp
Die-cut: My Mind's Eye
Flower: Heidi Swapp
Rub-on: Hambly Screenprints
Ribbon: Making Memories
Cardstock Strip: Bazzil Basics

HOW TO:
Cut a rectangle out of your paper and adhere it under your picture. Put a large flower on the right side and on the lower part of your photo. Use the top part of the Fancy Pants Creative Card as the title of your layout. Create a scalloped edge by using a Bazzil Basics cardstock strip. Hide the straight edge of the scalloped paper by decorating with a ribbon. Finish decorating your layout with a lot of embellissements: die-cuts, rub-on, labels, stickers, chipboards. Position most of these embellishments on the bottom right of your photo to help it blend in.
