Altered boat
by Rachel Burgess
SUPPLIES
MME BellaBella French Flea Market paper kit
(A Bit O’Dots Paper, 2 be with you die cut, 3 flower die cuts & 2 borders)
Sticky foam pads
2 shades of blue inkpads
HOW TO
ink the bottom edge of the boat, first with the lighter and then with the darker blue inkpad.
Cut enough of the two border strips shown to cover the front of the boats base and halfway down each side. Ink the tops of both strips with the lighter blue ink and taper the ends downwards from about half an inch in.
Attach the taller strip around the base of the boat and once secure add sticky foam pads across the base at the front and down the sides. Attach the second strip to the front first and then, once secure, stick the sides down also.
Cut two strips of the dots paper to almost cover the white stripes on the boats sail (no need to be exact!) ink the edges and attach these with the ends wrapped around onto the back to give a neat finish.
Ink the bottom edge of the 2 be with you die cut, first with the lighter and then with the darker blue and attach to the front left of the boat with the sticky foam pads.
Trim your photograph to size and ink the edges of the three flower die cuts using the blue inkpads. Attach these evenly spaced up the left hand edge of the photograph and secure the photograph in place using the sticky foam.
