Optional: Scoring blade (for your personal trimmer)

HOW TO
Cut cardstock 5 ½” x 8 ½”. You can use a scoring blade with your trimmer to score in the center point for a smooth crease to fold. Fold. Smooth out with a bone folder.

Stamp greeting (“sew glad we’re friends”) to bottom corner of card as shown.

Cut DCWV (blue pattern) paper to 1” x 5 ½” and attach approx 3/4” from top of card as shown. Apply AC Mini Marks row of buttons above the DCWV paper strip. Optional: I used paper piercer to punch holes, needle & thread to apply stitching to the buttons as shown for a hand sewn touch.

Cut ribbon (pink w/ white polka dots) to approx 3” and attach to top of small white tag. Cut off excess ribbon.

Tear the bottom of the small white tag. Stamp/write “forever friends” in center of tag as shown. Apply AC Mini Marks stitched red heart to corner of tag. Attach tag to card as shown.

Stamp Hero Arts “friends” greeting to scrap piece of white cardstock. Use 1” circle punch to punch out circle. Apply circle to card as shown.

Stamp/draw mini flower on mini distressed tag and attach as shown.

Use 1” circle punch to punch out circle from OA floral paper. Apply to card as shown.

Add thread to MM button and apply to edge of floral circle with a glue dot.

Apply MM felt flower blossom to card with a glue dot. Add thread to button and apply with a glue dot to center of flower.

Add thread to AC fabric button and apply to card as shown. You can reinforce to card with a glue dot, if needed.

Stamp greeting to outside flap of envelope.

Lovely card with the unique sewing machine image and greeting...can't seem to find the stamp from your sources...is it still available?

thanks Ellen!
are you speaking of the sewing machine stamp? if so, it's available from Stampin' Up! if you have a Stampin' Up! consultant near you, you can order from them.
if that's not the stamp you speak of, let me know :-)

hugs, wendy
