Natalie- Ethan at 9 **KI MEMORIES**

Documenting life in it's current state is an important aspect of scrapbooking. Natalie shows us what life is like for her son at the age of 9. She has also dubbed this as the "you don't have to have loads of patterned paper to make a layout and you can use Lace cardstock as a template/stencil as well as on it's own" theme. Ha!

SUPPLIES
Bazzill Basics white, blue and black scalloped edge cardstock
KI Memories Bloom Twirl Boogieboard Frosty Lace Cardstock
Heidi Swapp chipboard letters and number
Embossing paste
Buttons
White ric-rac
Black and white gel pens

HOW TO
Attach your black cardstock to your white cardstock. Mount your photo onto white cardstock leaving a small border. Attach your blue Lace cardstock, with temporary adhesive, to your blue cardstock. Cut in half. Use one half to cut 5 x 1.75" squares and a strip measuring 1.75" x 12". Attach to your layout where shown. Spread embossing paste (colour with white paint if your paste is a bit grey!) over the other half of your lace cardstock. Leave to dry for a little while but whilst still damp, remove the lace cardstock. Leave to dry for a few hours or overnight. When dry, cut 5 x 1.75" squares and attach to your layout. Attach the buttons and chipboard letters and number. Doodle with black and white pens.
