Make and Takes

Last weekend, we had some outstanding make and takes ready for the retailers. Our focus was teaching not only techniques, but using older product in innovative ways. Here are just a few samples of what we had to offer. And who knows, you may be seeing a few of these projects at Scrap-A-Ganza.

"Little Golden Mini"
One of Mireille's projects was a Creative Imaginations mini album decorated with the new Making Memories FaLaLa line. She used Stix 2 Anything gold foil along the edges to mimic those "Little Golden" story books.

"Flower"
Lucy showed us all how to utilize those old (possibly ugly) overlays. First she applied alcohol ink to the back of a circular piece, then a different color to a leave shaped piece. Once dry, she CAREFULLY ran the edges over a candle flame in order to bend and melt the edges slightly. When the overlays are hot, they are pliable and can be formed into shapes.

"Frame"
Fanny made these beautiful frames using the BasicGrey nameplates and Grungeboard wings. This one was made specially for Emma (that's a photo of her son).
