X-acto knife and mat
Hammer

Materials list:
Creative Imaginations Scalloped board
Coloured wires
Ranger Acrylic Dabbers
Rusty Pickle patterned papers
Ranger Distress ink re-inkers
Creative Imaginations chipboard numbers
Bazzill tags
Ribbons
Ranger Stickles

Instructions:
Remove the wire from the top of the Creative Imagination s Scalloped board and thread several colored
beads through the wire. Set aside.
Using Ranger s Red Pepper Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabber, paint around the outside scalloped edges of
the board. Don t worry if you get paint on the front or back because we will be covering it with paper.
Cover one side with Rusty Pickle striped paper and use an X-acto knife on a cutting matt to trim as closely
around the scallops as possible. Use sand paper to smooth the edges if necessary.
Using Ranger s Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabbers, paint fronts and backs of 5 of the Bazzill square tags Red
Pepper and paint the other 5 Lettuce Green.
We will make up a mixture to create our own Glimmer Mists by using a mini-mister, a few drops of Distress
Ink Re-Inkers (Fired Brick and Shabby Shutters or Peeled Paint) and a small scoop of Perfect Pearl. Shake
this up and spray away! Use this mixture to color one set of chipboard numbers 0-9 a red shimmery tone
and a second set of 0-9 a green shimmery tone. Let dry and adhere to fronts and backs of each tag. One
set of numbers should be on red tags and the other full set should be on the green tags. Arrange the numbers
so that 0 is on the front of on tag and 1 is on the back of the same tag, 2 and 3 should be on the
next tag and so on.
Use the opposite color red/green dabber to paint around the edges of each tag.
Position tags centered towards the left side of the scalloped board. Make a mark through the tag holes and
hammer a nail at each mark (being careful NOT to hammer through the table!)
Use a Snow Cap Dabber to edge the pre-stamped strips of blue cardstock and adhere to the top and bottom
of the scalloped board below the scallops. Trim off excess.
Edge the Days til Christmas words in white as well and adhere to the right of the tags.
Paint the smaller chipboard snowflakes white as well and attach randomly to the board.
Re-attach the wire hanger and tie ribbons at the base to hide the bottom of the wire.
Use silver ribbon or wire to string beads and tie to the larger snowflakes. Use double stick tape to attach to
the back of the board and cover the entire back with more Rusty Pickle Christmas paper.
Add Stickles everywhere!!!!
