HOW TO
The main idea is to mix on this layout differents kind of embellishements : some are very modern and other more shabby or vintage.  Adhere the notebook journaling sheet on the left of the paper and place your picture on it. Decorate around the picture with stickers, rub-ons and wireflowers. Don’t be affraid to cut the wire and to create your own embellishement with the piece you have.

Carole - The things I love about you

Die cuts: creative imaginations, my mind’s eye
Brads: chatterbox, creative imaginations, kaisercraft, basic grey (lemonade
collection) and my mind eyes (colorful Christmas collection)
Grungeboards: Tim Holtz
flowers: prima, imaginisce, daisy d’s
acrylic paint: silver

How to:
Place one of making memories 20 x 20 cm papers on the font. Cut 2 stripes of 20 x 2 cm in another one.
Cut one creative imaginations die cut and use it to make a frame. Adhere it on the 20 x20 paper. Place the stripes, one on the right and the other on the left a little more high. Then adhere the picture just over the die cut frames you’ve created before.
Paint the gungeboards with silver acrylic paint. If it is too big or if you need a smaller form, you can just cut it. Place the grungeboards in the corners.
Decorate with die cuts and flowers. Put different kind of beautiful brads in the flowers’ hearts.

3D foam squares

How to:

cut the yellow square on the back side of the we R memories keepers "berry"
paper or a 15 x 15 cm square and adhere it on the right of your picture in the
middle of the blue paper.

Cut the clouds and the planes in the imaginisce papers and adhere some with 3D
foam squares. Cut some stripes in the other papers and decorate the bck of the
yellow paper with to create a king of road. place some cars stickers on that
road.

adhere other words stickers on the square papers to create the title and the
journaling.

Then, create a kind of sew with a black pen all around the edges of the font
papers and of the picture and the square paper.

how to:

The idea is to mix several papers and embellishments from differents collections
and brands...

cut a piece of the pink paper to hide the middle part of the die cut paper. sand
the edge of this paper and sew it on the die cut paper. Then use a piece of
cardboard to paint some part with white acrylic paint.

cut a piece of the blue paper ans sand the edge too. then put a piece of the
white die cut paper over it and adhere it.

Place the die cut and the transparency over it, and adhere the pictures.

decorate with self adhesive felt. You can use it as it is or cut some piece and
create your own scrolls.

Put little flowers and brads all around the scrolls and a 3D sticker next to the
picture.

then adhere the title with stickers.

How to:
The main idea is to mix new mme papers with older stuffs...
I really love the frame of the die cut paper but the colors of the middle don't
go with my picture. So cut another square paper and hide the middle, just keep
the frame.
Cut also a stripe of red paper and adhere it under the picture. Choose a big one
with lot of space and apply a rub on to make the title.

Apply a frame transparency on the main characters of the picture.
Decorate with frame, cut and used as a border, with flowers

HOW TO
place the 6 x 8 cm picture on the "who's here!" journaling card and adhere this one on the other journaling card. adhere all on the paper, above on the right. Put the numbers die cut on the left and place a scalloped circle around the moment of your pregnancy (or the age of your children, the date... etc depending of the picture you use). adhere a felt butterfly next the picture and place the swirl transparency on its back. Decorate and write your title and journaling with stamps and black ink.

how to:
The box comes from making memories. It contained embellishments.The idea is to cover all the faces of the box but leave a little place on the boards. You can adapt this project to all kind of box you can find. Use the box to measure all its faces and cut papers a little bit more small. then adhere all papers on the box inside and outside. Decorate the top with embellishements of your choice and adhere the title.

Carole- American Crafts

It's a Baby Card!!

SUPPLIES

wood stamp "Baby": American Crafts
clear stamps "Baby": American Crafts
layered embellishements "Details": American Crafts
glitter embossing powder: "Zinc" American Crafts

HOW TO
Fold a piece of cream or white paper in two to create a card.

Use the wood stamp "baby" on a white or cream small piece of bazzil and apply glitter embossing powder. Heat the powder.

Use a scalloped square punch on a green piece of paper and cut the middle to create a window. Cut a black frame and adhere it on the scalloped square and let appear the stamped words in the window.

Adhere all on a piece of american crafts paper then adhere this piece on a black paper and adhere all on the card.  Decorate with the layered embellishment. Make a title with a clear stamp.

How to
Use the kraft paper on the back and adhere a large piece of transparency on it. 
Add some strips of papers and frills over this transparency. Place the bigger picture on the left and adhere a frame transparency and a notebook journal page under. Add the smaller picture over this one and put a tag under it.  Decorate all with epoxy stickers, flowers and brads, stamps, buttons.

Cut a 14 x 20 cm rectangle paper and tear the back. Put a scalloped frame around the picture and adhere all on this rectangle paper. Decorate with swirl, buttons, chipboards. write the journaling with the computer and cut it in small strips. Adhere these strips on the picture and on the papers.

HOW TO
Cut a 25 x 14 cm paper and adhere it on the left of your font paper.
Cut one 15 x 17 cm rectangle in another paper and one 15 x 10 cm rectangle paper.
Adhere its on the first paper. Put your pictures on this smaller rectangle.
On the right part of your font paper, adhere the journaling that you will print with your computer
and cut in stripes before.
Also adhere the title. You can mix several colors and police of alphabet together for a great effect.
Decorate with dimensional stickers, flowers, buttons and eyelets.

HOW TO
Cut two pieces in the round scalloped papers and adhere the smaller part in
the left side above and the bigger part in the right side below. Cut a rectangle
piece of paper and adhere it under your picture. Decorate with alpha stickers,
chipboards, flowers and tickets. You don't need to write a title because you can
use the inscription on the ticket to do it.

One of the ideas is to create a cluster of die cuts on the corner of the picture and adhere them with 3D foam square with different thicknesses. The other idea is to use the chipboard picture corners as arrows to draw the eye to the picture.

HOW TO
Just play with transparencies and frame... Cut a strip in the die cut paper and a rectangle 30x 15 cm in the silver paper and adhere this one on the strip to make a kind of lace border. Trace a frame with a large black pen all over the silver paper. Adhere your picture and then adhere several transparency frames over it. Decorate with flowers and brads. Write your journaling on the top with alphabet stickers.

Carole- Love is in the Air

HOW TO
Cut two strips from the Making Memories craft paper and adhere it at the top and at the bottom of your lo. Place die cuts just under your picture in the middle of your layoutand and adhere it. Cut the ribbon and place it at the left and at the right of your picture. Cut flowers and leaves on the other paper and adhere its around your picture too.Place another ribon to make a separation between the patterned paper and the craft paper. Decorate with dimensional sticker and looking glass sticker.

On this Christmas Eve, we have two KaiserCraft projects from Carole. First is a project made mostly with Cctober Afternoon and American Crafts products. This is an album with lot of texture and material; papers of course but also fabrics, foams, vinyl, chipboards, felt and wood also.

HOW TO
Use one page as a template, then cut another template using this one a little bit smaller than the original. Use it to cut all your pages in the October Afternoon papers. Ink all theses pages in black. Decorate all pages with pictures, die cuts, stamps and foam, vinyl, felt and chipboard embellishements. Just play with texture. Add some ribbons to the rings.



"Excursion"

HOW TO
This is such a simple album, very quick to do. The main idea is to keep most of the transparency so all the pictures are adhered under one another on each side of the page. Just decorate all the pages with one or two rub ons: hambly's one are perfect because they are colored on both sides.

HOW TO
Here is a clock from Kaiser Craft. I have changed a little bit from the original project because there were 3 big wood "flowers" which were supposed to be hung together. I just put the little flower in the middle of the big one.
First, use the flowers as a template to cut your front papers and adhere it. Decorate the little flower with die cut"feelings" and some buttons in all the petals. Decorate the big flower with a piece of the Crate Paper flowers. Cut some circles and add it in the petals then put a different number on each circle. Adhere the little flower in the middle of the big one with strong glue. Put on the hands of the clock last.

Carole- TATTERED ANGELS

SUPPLIES
Paper: Crate Paper, Prima
Die Cut: Prima
White Papers Flowers: Imaginisce
Tattered Angels: Olive Vine and Black Cherry
Grungeboard : Tim Holtz
Embossing gold powder: Ranger

HOW TO
1) put the stars grungeboard on the front paper and spray the first taterred angels. let it dry and then spray a little bit of the other color. Remove the star. You got such an original front paper
2) spray tattered angles on white flowers to have a shiny coloured effect. Emboss the stars with gold powder and adhere it on the font paper. Cut the flowers on the prima paper and mix it with the imaginisce papers flowers around your picture.
